The artificial life group is interested on the study of artificial
life, and their relationship with real life. It includes many
disciplines and subjects related to this area. ARTLIFE works with artificial life models, studying life
principles and the possibility to simulate it on non biological substrates.
The artificial life group is composed
by professors, researchers and students interested and involved with
some of the diverse aspects related to artificial life as for instance
emergence, behavior, adaptation, evolution and learning.
It is part of the CNPq research group
