Jon "Maddog" Hall is the CTO of Linux International, a non-profit association of enterprises of great international relevance in the IT field who wish to promote Linux-based operating systems.

Since 1969 Jon has worked for the Western Electric Corporation, Aetna Life and Casualty, Bell Laboratories, Digital Equipment Corporation, VA Linux Systems, and SGI.

His interest in Linux has emerged at the time worked at Digital and was instrumental in getting equipment and resources so that Linus Torvalds could complete his first port, a version of Linux for the Digital Alpha platform. It was then that Hall, who lives in New Hampshire, started the Linux User Group of his state.

Jon Hall also serves on the boards of several companies and non-governmental organizations, including the USENIX Association. He is recognized in the developer community and a respected figure in the free software movement. At the UK Linux and Open Source Awards 2006 he received an Award of Recognition for Life for his services to the Open Source community. Hall holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1977) and a BS in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University (1973).

Koji Suginuma earned his master's degree in Engineering in 1987 from the University of Electronic Communications in Tokyo, Japan, and his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering and Computing in 1998 by the University of California.

He joined Sony Corporation in 1998 as a researcher in computer architecture. Conducted research and developments in satellite communications systems, home servers and ubiquitous computing equipment. He has 13 patents in the United States and Japan.

He is involved with computer graphics since 1977 and is considered an eyewitness to the rise of the computer graphics industry in Japan. His research interests are computer architecture for high-performance computing, positioning system for indoor environments for ubiquitous computing and wearable computing.

He is currently a lecturer at the School of Industrial Technology at Nihon University in Japan. He is an author with editorial status at the Eizo Shimbun (Journal of Visual Communication). Dr. Suginuma is also a member of ACM, IEEE, SID, SMPTE and ITE.
